Point System

The non-winning players are penalized based on the number of cards they still hold.

Scoring is one penalty point per card up to 7 cards when the first person gets rid of all his or her cards.

    If the player holds 8, 9 or 10 cards, the penalty points will be 8 x 2 = 16 points, or 9 x 2 = 18 points or 10 x 2 = 20 points

    If the player holds 11 or 12 cards, the penalty points will be 11 x 3 = 33 points or 12 x 3 = 36 points

If the player holds all 13 cards, the penalty points will be 13 x 4 = 52 points.

When the player to your right has only one card left and the card being played is a single card, you must play your highest card, i.e. you are not allowed to deliberately cause someone with one card to win by playing a lower card to them. Failure to do this, be it accidental or deliberate will cause you to incur everyone else’s penalties when another player with one card wins.
